Nice idea. But maybe rather than a wall it could be like a palliside and it damages cav but isn't very useful against cats because they would flatten the sticks. Or maybe a few options to make it a tactical thing.

Or maybe the best troop against it is Infantry so people are more likely to use more troops than Cavs and Archers.
