Locking Topics

Are you able to lock your own topics on the forums? If not I think it would be handy as if your question has been answered or you are just making a general announcement that you don't want people to comment on you could simply lock your own topic.

no your not able to lock your own topics but it would be a good idea
how do you let people know if your hot cakes are selling well?

1. the VIPs (the pre mods xD, longtime ago) could lock their own topics, experts/normal players cant :(

thanks. i didnt know you used to be able to lock your own topics. i guess theres many things from before i joined the forums. do you think they could bring it back where certain people could lock there own topics?
how do you let people know if your hot cakes are selling well?

mintman72 is no longer a moderator and can no longer lock topics...and mehhh no biggie. nice for us regular thread starters to have a way of ending topics when they are done and dusted

cough, some of the mod permissions still haven't been removed for some of the retired mods.

That seems pretty dangerous, if someone were able to get ahold of their account or something

however inactive accounts, if a player is not going online then they know they have been hacked, if they do any wrong stuff in the future but it is a risk to not completely remove a moderators permissions when they retire.
