Name Changes?

if there is a really good reason to change your username, ask the support in your server. they might be able to help

Actually, you can change your name, but by contacting kingdomsupport@haypi.com. It may take them a couple weeks, but if you really feel you have a good reason to change it then they will change it for you.

I think this is a good and bad idea..I like it because sometimes I get sick of my name being the same old thing..it would be a bit more interesting. The bad thing would be, as you said, the mutes. But here's something to maybe through out there, maybe adding a person breaking the rules to a list of offenders. If they change their name and continue to rule break, you can enter the new name in the offenders and match up what the previous name was according to IP or something..idk how that could be possible but just an idea. This post may be confusing but hey, I tried. xD

I would not like for this to be implemented, I knew someone that had an inappropriate name (it was his first account and he didn't know he wouldn't be allowed into world chat with an inappropriate name) I mailed him and told him to email kingdomsupport@haypi.com .. I then searched him on the map and 'no such user'. On the bright side, he can speak in world chat.. on the low side, I don't know who he is anymore and he didn't return my mail after he changed username... I'd like to know who he is xD
so... if multiple people changed their names then it would become too hard to track someone down.. I would only agree with changing names that are offensive

Bad idea people would get warned then change there name and you couldnt track it. This would be majorly bad sorry

There would have to be a serial number issued to each player to keep track of them, which would be pretty simple. There could then be some way for experts and others to track them by this. Buuuuut that part sounds pretty difficult. I think it's probably not worth the trouble.

then the programming becomes uber complicated behind that in order for experts to track people.names stay unless there rude or offensive. theres always ways round to get your name changed by support

Get to level 10 and make a new account with a better name, or just deal with it, like we all have to deal with those crappy sub names we first thought of almost a year ago thinking it was a cool name, not realizing how dumb they would sound now....
