Sub cities?

How about a way to get rid of your sub city? Maybe a button or a slide feature? I dunno I think players would find it useful. Thanks

Re: Sub cities?

It's been suggested many times... If you have a sub city that you don't want just post the coords in wc and say "very good city"

Wouldn't that be a wee bit obvious though if you advertised your own city in world chat? You can always ask your alliance members to take it if they are willing to upgrade it. (You will need to leave the alliacne and rejoin to do this)

Re: Sub cities?

"Im giving away a very good city! Level 15 everything! Just send attacks"

What's the point of it being obvious that it's your own city? It's not like you are saying "look, this person (me) left out troops", it wouldn't matter that you are advertising your own

Re: Sub cities?

Unless it's not level 15 everything and then the person that takes it gets really angry at you... angry enough to farm or declare war :P

Re: Sub cities?

Hmm good topic. I think you should be able to pay coin to get rid of subs not to just get rid of them when ever as that makes the more interesting as wen some one attacks you you can't just ditch a sub to get theres also downside is if ya did steal a sub you could just delete it witch is just wrong and spiteful. Again has it's ups and downs but would be a good feature :)

Re: Sub cities?

How about if you drop the city, it becomes owned by an NPC. It would create troops (and maybe traps/turrets) at a constant rate up to some maximum based on...the original civilization level of the player who dropped it? This way even if someone drops it, an attacker has the same chance of stealing it; it doesn't just disappear.

But the number of troops and such in it have to be a bit of a deterrent to just creating cities, upgrading them, dropping them, then farming easily - otherwise this would be abused. Granted it takes a long time or coins to upgrade a city to produce enough resources to be a useful farm, and the starter coins can't be abused this way because you have to be level 3 to get your first sub anyway.

Attacking goes the same as forts and oases - the attacker gets no pp for killed troops. If the loyalty goes down to zero it can be repossessed by the attacker, same as now.

Another suggestion is there could be some % chance that the NPC would upgrade some of the buildings in it. This is to give people a reason to go after some of these cities - you might get something good.
