I have been told directly by Support that you must be 18+ and also must be level 10 to become expert.

I don't think so......I'm not. I told support how old I was when they asked and I'm still expert. And that was on a new sever too....

But If this is a rule then support can take away my expert title.

The rule is in place, there are not exceptions made anymore either that i have heard of , it is really knew though.

So what, people who are 17 and under are any less of of a person in game just because of a few years? Can that 11 year old expert from earlier on not be as knowledgeable as an expert who is in their 40s? Why did they impose age limits on expert/moderator and not on the game cause who knows how much of haypi is composed of people who are under this limit? I think that the title should go to the person who best represents it on a server, not a person who just happens to meet these requirements, unless haypi is changing the game rating to 18+? then they will be losing money but at least there wouldn't be any discrimination anymore, this is just annoying...

I would have to strongly agree here. Sure, I'm 15, but that means absolutely nothing. Age really is just a number, not a label, and technically speaking that's a form of discrimination. I know experts who are under 18 who do their job and are mature and professional, and I also know experts who are adults and, not to bash, but some of them aren't the best experts. I don't believe support should ask age, but instead base choices of expert on activity, helpfulness, and maturity.

Secondly, the level is completely preposterous. What on earth does your level have to do with your ability to moderate a chat/enforce rules/be helpful?

I've heard a rumor that its for legal reasons... But idk. I know friends that have got titles in the past 2 weeks that aren't 18+

So they are forced to be discriminatory by law? Isn't that slightly ironic?
