Test Server

Understandably there are bugs with each new update, has haypi considered setting up a beta test server where top players could be invited to play and test. This would reward those who put effort in, and help find bugs before updates go live.

Re: Test Server

Pretty good idea. Could be a bit difficult for them to do this though. Creating a server and getting new software to work only on that server. However I don't believe top players should get to try it out before us just because they're at the top, I think they should be long time players or experts dedicated to haypi who should be invited.

Re: Test Server

A closed beta test is badly needed as 3.0 has some very large glaring defects. I personally would choose those who are very active on the forums. You only need a small number of players to find the biggest defects out there.

Re: Test Server

Get normal players who are trying to find stuff wrong with the update.

Haypi said they did their own testing, but im not sure they were even looking for anything wrong. It seemed they assumed everything would go perfect

Re: Test Server

Or higher professional QA people. It may come at a cost, but the game would be bug free.

Re: Test Server

Considering the shear number of complaints that have flooded the forums. I would definitely suggest Haypi considers this. There seems to be a number of us QA professions here that could help shake out the major bugs.

Re: Test Server

They have a beta server already. These were some unforeseen bugs.
For Better or for worse.

Unforeseen bugs?!

I hope you aren't serious. These defects were extremely obvious and touched on the most critical functions of this update. If testing was done on this, I hope Haypi hires some replacements for their QA.
