So first of all, telling customers constantly that they need to be patient is not ok. If you went to a restaurant just once and it was filled with 100 tables of guests with only 2 people taking orders and you were told to please be patient, they will get to you when they can, would you sit there and wait? Be realistic. If the server load is too much for the staff to handle, then they either need more staff or they need to reduce the load. Plain and simple.

About your restaruant reference, I WOULD wait patiently for a while, but after some time I would get up and leave

I'm ok with haypi telling me to be patient sometimes. It's just been overused and now it is their fallback on everything that goes wrong. Haypi is now expecting us to be patient, rather than asking us to be patient
