Prestige from building soldiers?

How much prestige do I get per soldier everytime I make cav,inf,cata,archer,
And do I get prestige every time they die?

Its approximately the same as their crop consumption 1/4/2/10

Along with what Steel said, the amount decreases every general level you gain. Also, you do not gain any prestige from your troops dying, and you may even lose some if they die fighting another player.

At level 0... You get more than 1/4/2/10 per unit of that nature made... At level 20... It's almost half of that :O general affects made prestige a TON!

So is it better to stay a low level if you wanna build prestige?
