Dealing with a constant attacker

So, I'm constantly being attacked by one individual, at both my cities, and any oasis I try to go to. How the hell do I deal with this? It's so frequent that I can't manage to do ANYTHING as I'm losing lots of resources (despite leveling up my cranny constantly) and my army is getting destroyed every couple hours. I try to build up forces by sending them to hunt, but I seem to get attacked every time I try to bring them back when I feel like I have enough to defend, only to get overrun by a force that's about five times bigger. I've sent letters to the guy, but they seem to fall on deaf ears.

How am I supposed to deal with this?

how are you supposed to deal with this... well its a war game so understand everything he is doing is ligitimate. first of all, dont try and defend at all merely keep building, then you will have an army he is not expecting, secondly, try and join a strong alliaance that can offer assistance and if necessary declare a war. simples

alot of this comes down to willpower and not giving up, I have had several people in my time port up right next to one of my cities and attack me 5 times a day, I do the same back to them also, just attack once every few hours taking their resources and not allowing defence to build, eventually one of you will stop attacking, its just never been me to stop first

Build and hunt. Do that till you think you have a bigger army. Then divide your hunting party up, one party small and the other large. Bring the small one in to lure the attack. Once you see his army size, either bring your big army in to mop the floor with him, or send the small one running to the hills and build up more.

As far as the resources go, any resource you do not use in building troops or upgrading, you can list at market for full price, then take it off when you need it. Its a safe, free storage!

If he is just too much for you to handle on your own, and you don't find anyone else to help out with him, then just keep your troops hunting and your resources low. If he can't get prestige or resource from you he will move on to greener pastures.

If none of these tactics work, you can try my strategy: diplomacy.
Always remember that your attackers are real people; make an appeal, and I'd say about 7/10 players will stop attacking you (in PvP it's more like 1/10). Then when you're more powerful, come back and wipe them afterwards. :)

I just have a secret army built up in on of my subs that i dont use unless im being farmed. If you cant stop his attacking and worse comes to worse you can just buy some coins and move your cities.
