I dont know why people get so uptight about being attcked, after all, it is the point of the game.
Usually when someone decides to consistently attack you, its because you arent being smart about how to deal with the situation. There is always going to be someone with a larger army than you, that doesnt mean you cant defend yourself.
If someone attacks you and you cant defeat their army, the solution is very simple. Hunt your troops and upgrade the things that require the most resources, and build units. Use up as much of your resources as you can before the attack lands to minimize your losses. When they win the attck, there really won't be much res for them to plunder and they wont have gained any of your prestige or killed any of your troops. Build traps that will most definitely kill some of their troops.
What now would be their incentive to attack you? they don't gain much res by it, and theyre not gaining prestige....
All too often, these situations arise from exactly what arythy said. people who attack you in this manner only want one thing, to correspond with you. be it in a negative sense, its still what they want. They want to get in your head, make you beg, plead and curse them. Don't give them what they want. ignore them and they will go away. After all, if there are no fruits for their labors, they won't waste their time and if they do, they will eventually get bored.
No matter how often you are attacked by this person, it should not ever slow your production and growth. If it does, youre handling the situation wrong.
After all, don't forget this guys name....if hes a real sunnuvagun, then take your time, build a large army and go gunning for him when YOU ARE ready. A wise general guards against impetuous courage and knows what his limits are. There will come a time when you can defeat him if you work for that goal. Since now obviously isnt the time, dont sweat it. instead, build for your future so that you can talk to him in a language that he knows, when the time comes.
