Map crash

ok i have an iphone 3g and ipod touch 3rd gen on there latest updates and v3.01 works alot better. nick you just gotta upgrade your software for it to be better i expect

the map has been crashing for the last hour for me, i've just deleted and reinstalled and that has not fixed it.

any ideas to solve?

Haypi says the games work for ALL devices on 3.0 or higher ios

I dont want to be forced to update my ios for a game that should work on what i have

Also, what does living in sparce population have to do with anything? i live in a city lol. Ive got about 750k people living in my area. Guess thats not enough for haypi

It works for you, but it might not for me, and i dont want to unnecessarily upgrade to a higher ios if its not 100% certain to fix the problem :/ im picky

i dunno why not ios4 has been great.i have it on two devices and its working like a charm. i had problems on 3.1.1 and 3.1.2 so i cut my losses and upgraded. im gonna take a wild guess that your device is jailbroken and thats why you dont want to upgrade.

I'd downgrade if it's possible. iOS 3 is a lot faster on iPhone 3G and iPod 2G than iOS 4. And I've got an iPod 2G with iOS 4.2.1 and it doesn't work.

meh too much effort to downgrade but there are jailbreaks of 4.xx available. also if you dont like it you can just restore nbick via a few options like winSCP (http://winscp.net/eng/download.php) that will allow you to create a backup (do this before you update) and then restore later if you wish
