best stats.

well i have now begin to question whether which stats would serve me best with having a cav army. ive asked players, but couldnt come to an agreement to what is best and how to evenly distribute stats. many said to have maximum heal vs others going max cranny with hidden. these suggestions were rather vague because i need real numbers. im currently a lvl 17. id just like to know what you guys think of stats and how they serve you. i used to have a cat army so i have max hidden. i realize hidden at max is only 30% chance with a 3% addition for each level until max lvl at which point im not sure if its really worth spending so many points on just a 3% increase. i also like cranny but i dont seem to be getting much. i'll probably keep it at 6, but i need numbers to how i should distribute between hidden, heal, and cranny. i.e. maybe like 7 hidden, 8 heal, 5 cranny? just some number like that would be great.

Re: best stats.

With an all Cav. army i think Heal would help the most...

With what..? 200,00+ cav you could save alot of prestige and lost troops with heal.

what she/he said, with max heal u can save 20% of prestige/army and when u use a cav army u will get alot of casualities on battles

Re: best stats.

You have to consider the way a cav army works. They fight in melee so therefore, they will suffer casualties. There are only two things you can do to counter their losses on the battlefield.

1) Max heal skill. This is a must for any general who wishes to use cav in a combat role in order to maximize pres gain and troop loss. there is no ifs ands or buts about it. Break cranny is ONLY necessary if you plan on starving people on a very regular basis. Otherwise, it is easy enough to get all the res youll ever need from forts and inactives. To build that skill for any reason other than to starve people is a waste of skill points that could be so much better spent on other skills.

Hidden is not necessary for two reasons. first, your cav attack with vicious speed and need not conceal themselves as most defenders usually will not have enough time to prepare for your attack. Secondly, There is not a great chance for a hidden attack to be successful, and even when it is, there is still a chance that the defender will see it coming.

2) Defense attribute and tech. There is definitely a case to made that defense wont help your cav as much as attack. It is a moot point. i ONLY wish to enlighten you to the fact that your defense is most certaintly a major factor in determining your losses in battle.

When using cav, your primary concern should be how many of the enemy is killed before your horses are. Most often, cats and turrets will be raining destruction on your horses while you attack other units. You need to be prepared for this.

So, when dealing with cavalry, I say your stats should show max speed and defense. couple this with a maxxed heal skill and you will reap the rewards.

Re: best stats.

I run 10 hidden. 5 heal. 4 break

At level 17, I like that setup :) but I'm thinking about ditching break and going to heal/hidden

Re: best stats.

I think that heal max and the rest in cranny would work... Attribute points in speed and defence and attack, maybe some in fortune, so you may get better hunts and double attack.
REMEMBER THAT IF CAVS ARE DEFENDING AND ENEMY'S CATS ARE GOING BACKWARDS, CAVS CAN'T HIT CATS. So it's better to build a not only cavs army.

Try to leave a cavs army out and tell it to a player with a cats army, then let me know.
