How do I get honor and what does it do?

Many people ask the question "how do I get honor and what does it do?". I will try to give a small simple explanation as I don't have the time to write a big guide.

Honor is found in general below prestige. It shows 0/15,000. To get more honor you need to donate resources/money/coins to your Alliance. To do this sinply select the alliance tab on the main screen, scroll down to where it says donate. The more you donate the more points you will receive. Then why do I not get honor points when I have donated alot of stuff?? To keep it simple your alliance has to occupy a mine for you to get them. At the end of each hour you'll collect your honor points(assuming you have a mine). The higher lvl mine you have the more points you will get. When you reach 15,000 points you will recieve a lvl 1 medal in world chat. they're are 5 levels of medals each one changing in colour and appearance. But it does not benefit you in anyway except being it beside your name in wc. Good luck getting one :)

If there's anything I missed or should have added feel free to let me know. Also feel free to copy and paste it if your constantly getting asked :D

I'm pretty sure there are 5 medals. Anyway good guide for newbies, but you didn't wrote that honor doesn't except giving you a medal (it does nothing)

Re: How do I get honor and what does it do?

You receive honor points depending on the Mine level you control (1-5) and your ranking in contribution for your alliance(1-40. 41-50 ranked receive 0hp.

There are 5 types of Insignia (As you stated,Medals)

You might want to change the format of the post too. It'd look much better in good paragraph form when you ask those "________?" questions

Alliance War Guide

Postby admin01 » Mon May 30, 2011 4:31 am
ⅠWar
1.Confrontation with the system
a.Alliance is confronted with the system by attacking a mine.
b.After occupying a mine, an alliance can achieve alliance prestige which it needs to upgrade to higher level.
c.An alliance member (in accordance with the contribution value) can gain the honor points allocated by the system, and players can gain insignia as honour points accumulates.
d.Mine (see Table 1 for specific data)
i.The higher a mine’s level is, the more prestige the mine produces. Mines are currently of 5 levels. The higher the level is, the larger the number of the soldiers there are.
ii.The prestige produced by the occupied mine will decay after being occupied for 48 hours and 96 hours (at the 1st decay, the output of prestige is cut by half; at the 2nd decay it drops to 0).
iii.The number of default soldiers in unoccupied mines of different levels will vary in a 0.8~1.2 multiple of the numerical value in Table 1.
iv.After a mine is occupied, the number of soldiers is determined by the alliance itself.
v.The mine occupied by the opposing alliance appears red.
vi.The mine occupied by one’s own alliance appears green.
vii.The unoccupied alliance appears white.
viii.Click “Mine”, and you can directly see the mine level; if it is an occupied mine, it shows not only mine level but also alliance name.
ix.Click any mine and you can see: mine name, alliance name (the unoccupied mine leaves blank), level, the honor points produced in an hour (limited to occupied mine), troops info; click “Attack” (limited to alliance leader and vice leader), and “Scout” to do the corresponding operations; as for an occupied mine on one’s own side, one can also click “Dispatch” and “Recall” (limited to alliance leader and vice leader) to do the corresponding operations.
x.Click “Mine log” and it shows the status of a mine. As for the unoccupied mine, the mine log is blank.
xi.An alliance can attack a mine only if the alliance hasn’t occupied a mine; if an alliance has occupied a mine, the alliance can only attack the opposing alliance or the unoccupied mine in the system after abandoning the current mine.
xii.“Dispatch” troops takes 15 minutes’ marching time, while “recall” is instant finished.
xiii. The leader and vice leader of the alliance that has occupied a mine can control the number of the soldiers in the mine by dispatching and recalling.
xiv.As for the occupied mine, the alliance leader can click “Abandon the Mine” to abandon the mine.
xv.There’s no “withdraw” option in Alliance war
Table 1

*The total number of mines is 20. There are 3 mines of lever 1, 3 mines of level 2, 4 mines of level 3, 4 mines of level 4, and 6 mines of level 5.

2.Alliance confrontation
a.One alliance is confronted with another by fighting for a mine.
b.Prestige can be gained by killing the opposite side’s soldiers.
c.After a mine’s ownership is changed, the calculation of decay time will restart.
d.From the time when a mine is occupied, alliance prestige and honor points of alliance members will be allocated once each hour.
i.If the alliance, to which the player is subordinate, loses the ownership of the mine within one hour after occupying the mine, alliance prestige cannot be gained; neither honor points can be gained by alliance members.
ii.If a player quit or join the alliance within an hour after occupying the mine, the honor points of this hour cannot be gained.
3. War command
----- The interface of command in alliance war can be watched by alliance leader, vice leader and members.
----- Identity of the commander can be shown in the interface of command.

a. Attack
When attacking, only alliance leader and vice leader have the right to command, whoever attacks is the commander. Alliance member only has the right to watch.

b. Being attacked
i. If alliance leader and vice leader are fighting against each other for the command jurisdiction, whoever first send command in the first round grabs the command jurisdiction, and the battle afterwards will be commanded by the same alliance leader or vice leader who grabs the command.
ii. If neither alliance leader nor vice leader is fighting for the command, alliance member can grab the command jurisdiction, whoever first send command in the first round grabs the command jurisdiction, and the battle afterwards will be commanded by the member who grabs the command.
iii. Alliance leader and vice leader can grab the command jurisdiction from the alliance member who is commanding.

4. Alliance prestige
a. The alliance’s prestige gained by occupying a mine is allocated by the system automatically, and updates automatically every hour.
b. Alliance prestige
i. The prestige gained by the winner must be greater than or equal to zero.
ii. When calculating prestige, a quotient is added to balance the strengths of alliance with higher level and alliance with lower level. The formula is as follows:
R=Min {[ABS (level of the defeated alliance – level of the winning alliance)/2+1], 5}
iii. Computational formula of prestige
The prestige gained by the winner = (the equivalent of the defeated alliance’s troops – the equivalent of the winning alliance’s troops/R)/100;
If the calculated value of the winner’s prestige is smaller than 0, it will be taken as 0, and the defeated will not lose prestige

II Troop training (only limited to alliance leader and vice leader)
1.Click “Train” to choose suitable number and types to train troops.
2.Click “Speedup” to spend a certain amount of coins in shortening the corresponding training time.

III Buying resources (only limited to alliance leader and vice leader)
Spend coins in buying corresponding amount of resources of different kinds and money.

IV Market (only limited to alliance leader and vice leader)
Choose the resource of suitable amount and price, click “Buy” to buy.

V Donation
1.Alliance member can donate resources, money and coins.
2.The member who donates successfully can gain corresponding alliance contribution points.
3.Calculation of contribution points:
10 money =1 point (Donate at least 10 money, and only the multiple of 10 money can be donated)
1 coin =1000 points
*1000 resources = market price*100(point) (Donate at least 1000 resources, and only the multiple of 1000 resources can be donated)
*The contribution value produced by donating resources is influenced by the market price of the goods. The higher the market price is, the more contribution value can be obtained.

VI Honor points and insignia
1.Alliance members (in accordance with contribution value) can gain the honor points allocated by the system, and gain higher insignia as honor points accumulates.
2.After an alliance occupies a mine and gains the prestige produced by the mine, alliance members can gain honor points, which are allocated automatically by the system in accordance with the members’ contribution ranking and update automatically every hour.
3.If a player quits or joins an alliance within an hour after occupying a mine, he or she will not gain the honor point of this hour.
4.Specific allocation of honor points (see Table 2)
5.Insignia and honor points exchange data
