Now this having been said, why would haypi ever want to hide these beautiful memories from us? Why don't you think we'll ever have access to them again, Nate?

Re: A simple question

LOL @ Shade's lame explanation. How does "moving" them create more room? Besides, these threads take up very little room in a database anyway. I think the explanation is just Haypi is just plain stupid.

Agreed - RibeyeRare had the best one written and quite frankley, should have won.

I'm humbled....thanks! And I concur, that is a lame explanation and makes no sense.

Re: A simple question

Hahaha! I found it!!! I had sworn it to be lost to time, but the gods of fate have smiled upon me, and I humbly present this episode of haypi lore to the masses, yet again.....especially you abs ;) ....

HAYPI IN REFLECTION
Herein being the account of one of the bloodiest battles in the history of the kingdom:

It was a pleasant evening, the sun setting low over the tree tops, when the first sign of trouble appeared. Under a heavy roar of wings beating, the birds of the forest swarmed from their roosts before the heavy hoofbeats of the pressing armies and war machines of the mighty and dreaded 'Dragons' clan!
Children cried and women hurried to usher their families to the safety of the castle walls of the wise and good Earl, Ribeye the Rare. The rumors of war had proven true as the vanguard of the Dragons reached the city and launched a cavalry attack.
A sortie was dispatched to meet the enemy head on. There would be no quarter given, on either side, clearly a bitter confrontation in which emotions ran deep. As the blood spilled and the iron clashed, a dire truth came into light. The Dragons generals had surrounded the Ill-fated city, completely isolating It from it's resources and all but conquering its hopes for survival.
The brutal flurry of sorties passed, leaving hundreds dead, and the vanguard moved it's siege units within range of the castle walls. But out of the gore a faint hope emerged, the Earl Ribeye the Rare was able to sneak a small force past the enemy encampments and attack directly at the aggressors nearby city! Hands tied, the siege engines retreated and returned home to squash the impudent Army, 1/2 it's size.
But the Earls force was an elite one. Battle hardened and better trained, they struck deep into the enemies hearts and completely routed them. Leaving none alive. The only sound on the battlefield was the lamentation of the women and children whose fathers and brothers were just mercilessly slaughtered.
The Earl returned home, drunk on the bloodlust and prestige of killing so many thousands, and cleared a path for reinforcements who would arrive just in time to repel the main forces of the Dragons clan.
At an impasse, the Dragons slowly began their retreat, but the Earl knew this to be a stall before the inevitable. So he gathered his people under the banner and found his prestige had soared due to the thousands already speaking of the valiant opposition of the hated enemy.
And so began a long march, an exodus, of his peoples, to a new city in a secret land, not to be harrassed by the Dragons....until the war drums find him once again......
