Heheh....and 100% of the time that you DON'T check on s59, it's not fine.

Jk....but that's the point.

Re: People with multiple expert accounts

I agree with what Taem said; obviously there are some that have too many Expert accounts to handle, but a few are able to switch from one to the other relatively well.

I would like to point out that making this thread does not increase your chances of becoming an Expert; nor, really, does asking for nominations or even the nominations themselves. So just play the game to have fun. ^^

Re: People with multiple expert accounts

id say when there are no experts on a server and no current experts willing to join that server then nominations do matter. if there are experts on the server then a current expert pushing you forward is the key thing
how do you let people know if your hot cakes are selling well?

Re: People with multiple expert accounts

When an expert is asked to take on another server, it is the expert's responsibility to accept or decline the offer based on willingness and available free time they have to dedicate. Yes, some can handle it, others can't; its not really the issue at hand. This is my opinion, based on what I have seen on many many servers.
Starting out a server with an expert is hands down more efficient and a better experience for everyone than starting one without an expert. Especially true if its a dedicated, helpful expert. Just because someone is willing to take the load doesn't mean there won't be more appointed. Just to clear that up, fairly moot point.
Now here is the problem trend I have noticed on the last few servers I have been on-too many players are solely playing to become an expert. All they do is talk about the lack of experts, and or the amount of time the current expert is on wc. They sit on chat and answer every question, regardless of how many times the question has already been answered. Yes, they try to be helpful, but they also cause trouble by correcting others based on opinions, by calling out players they believe are vying for expert, and otherwise disrupting wc with constant expert related discussion.
After a week or so,many of these players come to me complaining that they didn't get appointed, and saying they are moving on to the next server to try for expert. I'll state my opinion here once- if you are simply hopping servers hoping to get expert, take a second to think about what you are doing and why. Where is the fun of the game if you sit on wc all the time, only to move on and do it all again when you dont get expert? If you are simply creating accounts to attempt to be appointed, I can almost guarantee you will gain nothing but more and more frustration. Remember why you play and love the game, and go back to playing it for the fun and the experience.
As for only wanting the title for perks, it seems the vast majority of people fit that category.
Think about it. Everyone can't be an expert, only a few players per server get it. There are hundreds of helpful experienced players on every server. That being said, take another look at why you're making such an effort to get the title. Don't think that because you dont have an expert title next to your name, you arent noticed or appreciated for your knowledge and respect for world chat. I assure you, you are. Being a good expert takes so much more than game knowledge and ability to sit on chat and moderate. Its not a responsibility suited for just anyone, whether it appears so or not. So relax and enjoy the game, and your fellow players. We all should be helping because we want to, not because we expect something or think we can uphold the responsibility and standards of an expert better than the one you currently have.

Re: People with multiple expert accounts

I think that people should only have one expert account because sever 59 really only has one active expert since n2 and sky both have multiple accounts and sky the chat on 59 is barley dead you just get on at bad times during the day it is super active.

Re: People with multiple expert accounts

O.o I'll go on s59 more then. It's just that chat is almost always dead when I log in... but it might be my time zone.
Sorry about that.
