keeping servers active

I would like to suggest a way to make servers more active.

This would be that all accounts that haven't been used in a large period of time e.g. 3 months start to lose prestige. It could be scaled so that these accounts would lose a rank every 2 weeks.

When an account runs out of prestige it should be removed from the game.

These accounts could also be marked on the map so people know who is active.

When two or more servers are empty enough to merge, there should be a warning time e.g. two weeks and then the servers should merge.

I know there might be issues such as people getting annoyed about setting up on the map just to re-merge onto another server.

I think this is a good idea as there are a lot of active people on haypi but they are spread out over too many servers. It is also good for haypi because people will be tempted to play the game more if they know it will always be active, so may spend more money on coins.

I hope my suggestion is useful, and that it could be implemented soon

Re: keeping servers active

Start to lose prestige? They'd be eventually bypassed anyways and a lot of players in the game take breaks occasionally

Server merges remove inactives
We get coins per server merges

Re: keeping servers active

So far server merges only remove low ranked inactives, and does nothing towards removing the many higher ranked inactive players, and we don't get many coins per merge and these are quickly used up, and if you think 3 months is too short make it 6 months or a year. Not many people take breaks for that long.

Re: keeping servers active

The coins are ONLY because cities are randomly teleported in a server merge and the coins are compensation in case you want to tele your cities back to original places.
Higher ranked player removal would be a bad idea. Many people take breaks and would hate it if their accounts were removed while they were gone.

Re: keeping servers active

yea I'm just saying so it would be unfair to him for buying all the time to not lose subs to not lose pres res ect. and all he gets is losing pres. Completely unfair to ppl that go inactive on accs after a long period of time because of real life, switching servers, ect.

Re: keeping servers active

Interesting.. Instead of merging, flush out the inactives that would normally be deleted in a merge. Then have the server to the original players maybe? Just a suggestion. :D

And how exactly would this make the server more active? You basically did nothing to bring people back or others into the server....
