Haypi kingdom coin gift cards

I have noticed recently when I have bought an iTunes voucher to buy haypi coins with that there are various gift cards sold in the shops , e.g gift cards fro club penguin, rune scape and various others ! I think that there should e the dame with haypi , put the gift code into haypi and then you get the coins

Haypi isnt a big game, and them producing these gift cards would be pointless, as most people have no idea what haypi is.

The difference with club penguin and runescape is almost EVERYONE knows what it is and its easily recognizable.

Just buy itunes cards and buy coins, its basically the same thing as your haypi card. Another reason those games have their own cards is because they are on the computer and arent run through itunes

No it wouldnt. You can buy gift cards from itunes to buy coins. The reason those other games you listed have cards is because they are on computers and the only other way to buy coins is through paypal or a credit card (im assuming that, never played either of those games).

I dont hate you, i simply dont agree with your suggestions as its not what haypi needs right now. Again, haypi isnt a popular game (on US standards) and probably 29/30 people dont even know what haypi is. Thats why putting cards into every store in america would be the dumbest thing they could do

Well I live in the UK and haypi is fairly well known well at least among people with iPhone , but don't you think that having these giftcards may benefit haypi as more people will know what haypi is because they see these gift cards and go home and download the app

Nick's right this game is very unpopular here in the US. Haypi would probably end up losing money on this. One thing that might benefit Haypi is the advertisment but still it probably wouldn't help much. This would be a good idea if Haypi was popular but unfortunately it isn't like I said good idea though.

Well perhaps this should be put into place in contries were it is popular , and if haypi was recognised in europe I'm sure it would start becoming popular else were just because of the awesomeness of the game

so at times ads can be good for large companies trying to get big bucks.
the only good business move for making cards like this would be if haypi moved onto its own platform.

the problem with that is haypi would lose apple and android its main money making partners. the reason of this is apple takes a certain % of all money made from apps and in game app purchases. so haypi would lose that ads that apple does from them(app store)
and have to invest in other things.
haypi would eventually shut down. because of loss of activity from players seeing as about 70ish% is on ios
maybe try to make a come back on a different platform.
and all of the players would complain about how they spent so much money and now its gone.
this would be a very very bad idea from a business stand point.
because haypi would lose so much money trying to ad that they couldn't make it back in coin purchases.
lets say an ad costs $50,000 for a commercial or a magazine ad.
haypi would have to sell $70,000 in coins to make a good profit. (for this example)
that is 7000 players buying the 100 coin package.
I couldn't tell you haypi's active player count but from a business stand point thats a lot of wasted money. Would you rather have $70,000 or $20,000
i think the answer is easy.
so in essence advertising is bad for a small game company.
haypi shutting down is bad
haypi losing apple or android is bad.(mainly apple)
so ads for haypi could turn out disastrous for the company.
just stating from a business stand point how bad it could be.
there is the double sided coin to this.

they do some ads get some ppl that will buy coins and make more money than expected.
the real point is there is no need for haypi cards. or ads.

That makes sense but Haypi wouldn't advertise that big, like you said they are way to small for that. Although they could probably afford to advertise on computer websites such as addicting games or something like that that is less expensive. This would most likely bring in more people who would pay more for coins. Eventually they could make enough profits to make gift cards. They could remove their ads from other websites because the cards would advertise for them ( cards would be better advertisers because they would be cheaper) but if the cards do not work they would surley have enough profits to make a fallback so if the cards don't work they wouldn't have to go out of business. Also apple would take out their share because he mentions you would type in a code in the game therefor making it an in-app purchase. Now I probably don't know as much about sales as you know but this sounds right
