Expert voting

I think experts should not only be chosen by there contribution to the game but also to the game forums as this shows they are dedicated and are willing to help out in other ways rather than answering questions in-game.

Re: Expert voting

Maybe, I could see it helping a person get expert, but not deciding it. They should still be active in world chat and helping there too

I think that's what you mean, not totally sure though

concur completely, showing attributes on the forums is a good way of helping to get expert
how do you let people know if your hot cakes are selling well?

Re: Expert voting

it plays a small part as it means there is more data on which to judge a players character

Re: Expert voting

I don't think support takes into affect how you help on the forums, but they could use your posts to find out more about you, such as friendliness and patience etc, which are qualities they try to find in experts

Re: Expert voting

Yeah I think nicks right, they don't mention anything about looking at post on forums in the message about voting. I like this idea though they should take this into account while deciding expert. Nice job

Re: Expert voting

The only thing with this is that support would have to do a bit more work on finding out who is who on the forums, I know a bunch of people who use one forum account to represent all server accounts, so a person may be active on forums and then support would need to find them or the person wouldn't get any credit for their forum contributions and lose credit.

Re: Expert voting

True that would probably be a problem. They should have you make an accoUnt on the forum that would represent all of your accounts you should make. Maybe we should post this as a suggestion?

Re: Expert voting

The only thing with that is that I believe that haypi uses a forum making website and that the tie in for accounts would have to be done through the people who set up the forums (correct me if i'm wrong). If i knew how to do the tag thing on the end i would but I (along with many others I'm sure) don't know how to. This is a good idea i think but needs to work out some kinks.
