I personally think the entire combat system needs a revamp but the money it would cost in tech to sustain it would be massive.
i have had some ideas for an entire new combat and new units but haypi is and always has been about simplicity.

Yeah I agree. After all this game is a war game and they haven't made any changes to the war part at all, unless you count alliance wars which I don't. I also came up with a commanding suggestion and posted it but I doubt Haypi would take it into consideration.:/

To me, haypis fun lies in it's simplicity, anyone can command (nobody said anything about well) but it takes practice to be a feared commander, and you need to possess a good army size, which if someone plays it right and builds an army that could beat yours using your weaknesses you're in for some trouble.

The new suggestions would further the commanding gap, only a few people could command properly and understand it, even fewer would be good at it, and the stronger players win again, and then we will be wanting to revamp the whole commanding system... Again...
