troops starve help

Can someone explain to me how when my troops outgrowth the food production in the middle of the night and then instead of the troops that dint get fed die the whole ARMY dies?????

Since the troops are being fed with my food causing me to have a lack of food for the rest.

when my troops died I had an income of 33000 food os hr and was lest with 60 inf and 120 cats.

This is a large overstated amount of troop loss with that kind of food income in my opinion. or am I wrong????

33k crop output?? Are you sure someone didnt wipe you in your sleep?

we've checked and confirmed that the last time you refilled 78890 crop on 2011-07-15 19:08:11, your crop was insufficient when you are offline, the troops starved.

Maybe you had a bunch of oasis and you were enhancing and in the middle of the night enhance ran out and your troops died? I've had it happen before, and I had no idea how they starved at first too

I am not disputing that I may have outgrown my food production. The only problem I have is that the reason I do not have enough food is because my troops are eating it!!

So 33000 food are being eaten by the troops that starved. There is something wrong here if only 160 catapults and 60 inf survived with that food production.

A % of my troops should have starved BUT NOT 95%. It does not made sense

I real would like an answer on this as this has cost me coins that I paid for.

I don't understand why I can't get the explanation here. I have mail the support regarding thus and did not get a straight answer. Just like here.

good luck on them replying lol every mail i sent to them never got a reply ignored me i had to hound down supports pal id number that works better they actually reply.

Here is the answer I got.

Plz know that it's not a matter of how many percent, 1 infantry consumes 1 per hour, calvary 4, archer 2, siege engine 10, if you had many troops and if you were offline for several hours, there's huge possiblity for large troops starvation

Well then I know, even though is is a bit strange at least to me for someone to die of starvation while eating at the same time.

I hope this gets re worked at some point as this cost me around 20 million in recesses.
