marketplace idea

To me the marketplace is useless as far as the resources. Lets say I am trying to make 10 cats, I have all the necessary resources for all except lumber, I only need about 6000 more in order to make the 10 cats. The problem here is that every single time I look at the marketplace for lumber the average lowest amount for sale is 50,000....i think a great idea would be to specify how much I want of the resource from a given seller. What I keen by this is that if someone has 75,000 lumber for sale I think I should be able to specify how how much I need, meeting I'll pay the base unit price for 5,000 lumber instead of being forced to buy the entire amount. I know this may interfere with the base unit price but I think this change would be revolutionary! Whenever I go to sell a resource I only post up around 2,000 and everytime I do that the resource gets bought within 5 minutes, I'm pretty sure this fact reinforces my suggestion that not everyone wants to buy 50,000+ of a resource at a time...
Re: marketplace idea
Well on newer servers yes but on older servers the larger batches of resources get bought first
how do you let people know if your hot cakes are selling well?

Well I have the mobile windows 7 version of this game. Are those newer servers coming to my version soon? There was an update that I downloaded just today and so far the only difference I notice is a new icon for the management button....anyone know if there is anything else new in the update?
Re: marketplace idea
New servers are available to all devices. However you are fixed on your server till you create a new account

Re: marketplace idea
this idea is in my opinion very unneccisary
if there is 50k lumber going cjeap you should buy the lumber and use for somthing else.

Re: marketplace idea
Thank you for agreeing with me Android. Now alanwalsh, im assuming that you are a high level player, am I correct? For us smaller more new players we don't have the sort of money or maybe even capacity to buy what most of the bulk sales in the marketplace are offering. (I'm not trying to be an ass when I say that alanwalsh)
Re: marketplace idea
I think the current method is sort of like real life. If you buy in bulk you get it for cheaper. I am sure somewhere there is listed 6,000 lumber but if you want that you're gonna have to scroll and pay some extra. Most players aren't willing to sit in market and sell the resources in batches of 5k when they can get 400k in a couple minutes from a farm. So you get resources for cheaper if you buy them in bulk. That's how I see it anyway.

Re: marketplace idea
I'm lv 17 but I still respect lower levels have it more difficult thus this would be good. It is like real life the way it is, but most lower ranked people can't afford high market prices because they dont have much money. If it was made easier with this method, less lower ranked players would quit because they find it too hard, and the more players the better.
