Re: Freya
I'm merely curious, so please don't be offended. But is your alliance powerful? Doesn't playing peacefully make it, well, a tad bit boring? Why play a war game at all then?

Ask yourself whether the dream of heaven and greatness should be waiting for us in our graves - or whether it should be ours here and now and on this earth.

Well I'm gonna sympathize with ol' rune over here, which is VERY out of character for me, but the truth is, every server I've ever played on has an alliance like his.
Seems strange to us warfaring types, you know, the kind of generals who like to kill things, but in actuality, they are still enjoying one of the greatest things about haypi, that is a sense of community.
I think the thing that makes haypi great (for all players) is the huge community created for and by us, spanning the whole earth. After all, no matter how powerful we are, or how many troops we build and kill, it is all pretty much pointless without our friends we've made here to talk about it with, and to brag about it and boast about it.
All the money and time you spend on this game gets you absolutely nothing, but what we get from each other by way of friendships and connections is irreplaceable. This is still enjoyed by those who for some reason opt not to fight and take the game as seriously as others.
I have met several people from around the globe in person...cool people, and great friends, that I neve would have had the chance to, if not for this game. Regardless of my rank, or the huge sums of money I've dropped on this game, that is really what makes it worthwhile.
There is no other iPhone game I know of (and really not many games of any type at all) that offer us such engaging chat and forums to communicate, help, intimidate, ridicule, and generally humanize with others as this game does. To me, no matter what your playing style, this is a special thing that everyone can enjoy. Even that peaceful Viking, rune.
