Re: Dead servers? Maybe not.

i think people set there hopes on server merges too much and that the game provides adequate player benifits.. I do think that there are a lot of inactive players on some servers but im a stong beleiver of making the most of what you have.

Daily log in comes in form of Daily gift. It would be nice to change some of the the gifts...

Loads of games have inactive players, a lot are a result of "join this game for coins/bonus" etc like referal to other games.. Im not sure if haypi do this but it could be a reason.

To keep the game from becoming standstill, people need to instigate wars and so forth... but what would help is introducing more tasks to encorage more goals.

Instead of just aiming for leveling up it would be nice to have other goals.. im on task 43 and for the last lot of tasks its been all about leveling up.

point 1- Instead of introducing new servers maybe clear inactives and add new players to the current servers and give them more time to develop there levels and ranks where they cant be attacked till say they are levl 9/10

point 2- switching servers would be nice but should come at a cost. I also thinking the task to create a new account (which puts u on a new server) is something that should go. if they are only given 1 account there wouldnt be so many inactived on various servers.

Point 3- it may just make some servers more quieter than normal.

point 4- your log in bonus is something you get anyway in form of DG .. but introducing a daily challenge to earn gifts would encourage more game play.

I tend to randomly waffle on long posts haha.. so some may not make sence lol but i hope some points come accross lol

Re: Dead servers? Maybe not.

i dont think you were here before haypi started releasing servers at a rapid rate, and started the gain an account task....

before haypi started that, servers were going dry, barren, and a lot of inactives. new players were coming on to old servers and being wiped by massively strong players. a lot of your tweeks, would land haypi in that same position, only with more bandwidth, less money, and a lot more responsibility.

haypi made the changes it did, in order to try to improve the game, the game-play, and improve overall game activity.

it is a success. the overall game activity is up. however, we are talking about overall server activity. we want servers to get more activity now, instead of 1 server being active, dying off and moving to the next.

the daily gift is a small amount of a gift, that encourages you come on for a few seconds to hit get gift. however, the log in bonus would be in the form of getting on, playing for and hour or some set time (probly a timer in the upper screen would be nice) and then players will receive a random reward generated by the server.

Re: Dead servers? Maybe not.

the idea of improving gifts is good
people spend their lives searching for the meaning of life, and fail to find it.

I know what their mistake is. There is not one but two meanings of life:

Re: Dead servers? Maybe not.

3rd idea: I completely disagree. I have a hard enough time getting level 10! Often a server is simply not fun to play on or merges and I want to move on, but I wouldn't be able to do this if this idea were implemented, since it would take me months of increased time, effort, and spending in the game as opposed to about a month of moderate playing as it currently is. I'm sure this is roughly true for others who can't spend all day every day playing Haypi and who don't necessarily feel like disciplining themselves to gain levels faster.

4th: That sounds good, but perhaps some of a chat requirement too? e.g. at least 5 lines of chat in that hour?

I like your thinking though. ^.^

Re: Dead servers? Maybe not.

i know that some people would get frustrated with idea 3... thats why i didnt just suggest that one.

also, i didnt mean to make it tougher on players, i just am simply saying that for haypi it wold be better, as it would increase time spent on servers and allow more activity, and so forth, giving each server more purpose.
