Consolation prizes from losing battles

Just suicided a bunch of troops today and got a gold box as a consolation prize for my "loss". Very sweet of the system. Anyone know anything about how the game decides when to console you, and with what?

It actually does, gold and silver boxes were made a reward for heavy losses upon their release.

Guess well toss it up to having a noob moment. I did not know that!

I suicided 5116 archers to a fort and got a silver box in return.

I don't know how they decide to give them away...I know that I have gotten one and given a couple. I also got attacked by 6k cats once, only had like 4k in my city. I killed all but like 500, they "won" the battle but still got a gold box.

I dont know when u get them but i wiped some1 and got 44k prestige. He got silverbox. I think u just get them (or the other person) when just 1 person has heavy loses....

i lost 46k pp 83k pp and 136k pp and never got a box after battle but im also droid.
