Nathan Vs PVP

HOW NATHAN DOES PVP?
In PVP I always get asked the same two questions. One has a short answer one a long so here we go
1. how do you level quickly if you don’t want to spend more than your statutory mount of coins
--- you don’t although 15 days doesn’t sound like a very long time it is easy to take it slow and then pick up speed later, usually I drop all the way down to around 2000th before climbing the ranks again. In essence PVP is a middle distance event rather than a sprint. Its ll about balancing than rushing head first to be number 1 straight away
2. How do you do PVP successfully without spending money?
1. Set yourself a target, usually MOST non spenders will be below 100 in the ranks. This means you should not expect too much from yourself
2. Don’t level too quickly, fully utilise your beginners protection because remember theres still 12 more days and you don’t want to get wiped by the overzealous number 1 contenders. I usually wait till day 7 as you benefit from the prestige calculation in battle as well
3. Work on getting shooting, scouting and marching up.
4. from day 3; farm, farm, farm sell, sell, sell and train, train, train usually this sets me up perfectly. This does require a lot of commitment and hard work but it will pay off. Depending on the effort put into this will usually impact your final ranking
5. Army- now we all know the major advantage of speed in a cav archer army however in pvp I like the cat inf army for a few reasons.
a. There is no notifications so speed is not essentialal in crossing the map.
b. It provides the fewest losses overall meaning you wont get hit so hard by the prestige calculator if you fight a lower level.
c. Many of the people I aim for at pvp aren’t the high flyers meaning that they tend to have traps over turrets meaning inf are the best option to clear them.

Please bear in mind this is all subjective and is a method that I have been asked to share many times. It may not go perfect for you every time but hopefully this will guide you towards the method that works for you

Re: Nathan Vs PVP

i recommend this strategy. it worked out really well for me, until i had a death in the family, and was unable to participate in pvp anymore:(

but i know from experience, nate, that this is fairly accurate.

Re: Nathan Vs PVP

Good post! The only thing I disagree with is staying in protection. IF you have your cranny up decent then get out of it and start killing. Battles and building troops are the best prestige so get on it.

however coming out of protection early means you do benefit less from the prestige calculator when you kill troops....
