Expert age req. Should be cancled

The most likely answer is that some support have age requirements and others don't, which could explain why some people say there isn't whilst others say there is.

I disagree, i know there is some good young experts out there, but there is something that is almost demoralizing when an 8th grader is telling me to watch my language. Not only that, i fail to even take them seriously because in my mind its an awkward kid with a cracking voice not an adult that i can take as an authority figure as i should from an expert.

His age shouldnt decide whether he has respect. His actions should, which is a completly new topic.

I don't think there ever was. I think some support members preferred not to have younger experts, but in the end, I believe actions, not age, determines an expert.

I think we all agree its the maturity level that determines whether the person becomes expert or not.
However it is support's personal opinion on making an age restriction.
I don't think all of support have such a restriction.
Either way, if your making wc a nicer and more inviting place to be, you deserve a pat on the back

i dont agree with as young as 13, but say 16 onwards, where society gives you more freedom, should certainly be allowed.
i also agree that there should be a series of questions that support would ask you in pm or something where you dont have time to research answers, and they ask you about the game and why you think you would be good as expert, if you know all u need to know about the game then i think there shouldnt be anything stopping you from being expert if one is needed in the server. ide say a server need about 7-10 for good coverage. by the time servers come to merge, alot will have become inactive anyway.
