Hunts

I would like an answer. What is the the formula for hunts and does the level or type of oasis matter?

The formula for hunts is extremely complex. There IS one out there but it's not right.

Also, the level/type of oasis affecting a hunt is widely debated. There has been extensive testing by the community and they have come to the conclusion that neither the level or type of oasis matters (I believe a level 0 has a higher rate of failure for hunts, though.) Although that's what I've heard and believe, I know there are many people who believe levels and type do matter, though.

What really matters is how recently someone has hunted in it; the failure rate for a hunt increases if someone has hunted in it recently, and the oasis becomes "fresh" 3 days after nobody has hunted in it. Also, you can make an oasis fresh by occupying it and then resigning it.

Mainly, you want to hunt in an oasis that hasn't been hunted in recently (for the past 3 days) or an oasis that was just resigned. (Resigned oasis turn fresh instantly)

I agree with everything sky said. Id like to add though that everyone seems to swear by some strategy or another. Use the search function of the forums to look for hunting guides, or just browse the forums. There really are lots of theories. Find one that you think works and stick with it!
