Hey haypi! I am sure that most of the veterans here will know about this commanding tip, so this is for those who don't and new players. Hopefully this can help beginners learn to excel in commanding. Often in battle, players will use a large amount of cavalry not only to protect their other troops, but also because when forwarding they can eliminate high amounts of all other troop types. This tip comes into play when you have forwarded your catapults in previous rounds. Forwarding cavalry cannot hit catapults that are moving backward! If your opponent's cavalry would forward the following round and hit your catapults, you can move your cats back and not only avoid damage but also hit their cavalry an extra turn. This is also a great tactic to think of in advance. Say you leave catapults out and someone attacks you with cavalry. If you left them in their beginning place, the cavalry could reach them in a couple turns and your cats would hit the cavalry only twice before being killed. If you forwarded your cats first round and then backward on round 2, their cavalry would not kill the cats second round, allowing three hits before their cavalry reach your catapults. Lengthy description for an important tip haha. Forwarding cavalry cannot hit backward moving catapults! Hope this helps!
