Improper Use of Alts

Well you could have a account on 81 then one on 84 and they merge so its possible

Funny how the thread was deleted about queen bashing other players once screen shots of proof was put up. Sad how you screw over players by calling them wh ores and drug addicts and yet you are a expert and hide behind your expert pals to cover for your corruption.

In my day, when one took issue with another, we would destroy their armies, take their cities, farm them, pin them, starve them and generally make their life very difficult using our might and our brains. You are a warlord. The battlefield has no room for crybabies. Act like a warlord and handle your problems with dignity.

Haypi promotes the use of a second account at lvl 10. So what if you lvl quickly to 10 and get a second account within the same server? What is wrong with that? Or those merged servers where a secondary account already was? That seems to be the case more and more. I agree that those who feed should have the use of a secondary "alt" account removed. But the idea a player is not going to use an extra account as support in some why is not realistic. I don't see the harm in using them to reset oasis or help take a city....In fact unless the player hasn't taken a city from another player, if you have an alt account capable of helping to take a city your going to use it 8/10 times..just saying. No need to be haters. What haypi needs is to expand lvls higher so players can gather even larger armies and hold even more oasis and create a why for a player to resign a city. That would help those of us who are maxed and farming mother haypi to death to help feed our alliance armies and make for more action.

A tricky issue at best, but I believe there's 2 ways of looking at it.
For the majority of my haypi career, alts were allowed and commonly used to do all the things we hear complaints about now. Of course, alts were not made available to all, and some went overboard, creating literally hundreds of alts on a single server. But in the end, I always appreciated this because it broke the stagnation of everyone having the same attributes/skills/equipment and armies. In real life, not everyone is on equal footing, but that doesn't stop the underdog from winning, and the same holds true in this game. Therefore, I don't believe it should be an issue, but that's my opinion.
The other way of looking at it is from the support staffs point of view. There is really no way for them to be sure if an acct is an alt all Of the time. People have multiple devices, people lie, cheat, set people up etc., and in the end, there's a serious risk of error on the part of support. Additionally, it seems to be a policy of haypi (especially in regards to this matter) to give each support staffer their own discretion as to what's ok and what's not, leading to contradicting rules. There are however some clear cut rules that we do know:
1) only one acct is allowed per device (save the task acct, which would be on a different server than the original).
2) no one is EVER allowed to access your acct under ANY circumstances.

Let's back up to these two rules, which are clearly stated and have been for as long as haypi has existed. If we can follow these rules, and enforce them somehow, it at least helps the situation somehow. We may still find the multiple device people having their way, but it will be a bit less than what we find now.

To take it further, the terms of service expressly prohibit anything not in the spirit of the game, which haypi has expressed to be base in good sportsmanship. Ask yourself, am I playing fair? You know just as well if you are, as you do if someone else isn't. Support has always relied on our good faith and willingness to police each other. I doubt this will ever change.

The agreement also clearly states that Haypi is not responsible for damage done to your account for lost or shared passwords. They do not enforce the account sharing rule. You cant stop us from using alts.

If you have ever lost anything to an alt like a sub, report it to support and that person will get warned or banned. The same goes for spying, and farming your own alts.

I have been warned by support for farming alts for resource, as well as stealing subs with them. You can get banned.

Oh, and if your complaint of queenofno's expert tactics includes bashing other players, then I believe you are doing yourself a diservice by bashing her. Just not classy.

using your alts to pin others, spy on alliances, or steal others cities is not against the rules. It is a war game and those are tactics. As long as you are not benefitting yourself with resources, equipment, prestige, money it isnt against rules

To me it's a matter of principle. Do I like being cropped or pinned? No. But if you're going to do it, have the courage to do it with your main account. Your alliance doesn't help pin people when you're attacked? Then switch to an alliance that does. As for spying, knock yourself out. I don't care too much about mines.

server 117 support currently defines it as "using an alt for any advantage to a main account" so pretty much everything is NOGO except talking or playing it as a alternative main.

Personally i'd say:

feeding, trading, farming, pinning, sub stealling ( in war this needs clarification), avoiding chat bans, spamming or abusing chat. i regard spying as legitimate as well espionage is part of war.

Also pinning your mine is not allowed i'd even stop the refreshing. once haypi let vices resign mines.

As noble as your cause may be, I can honestly say that you will never be able to eliminate the use of alts, they will be an immortal but unnecessary part of the game. Many times when people quit, they end up giving their password to a trusted friend or leader of their alliance. It woud be impossible for haypi to monitor all this. Any complaints about this issue are pretty much futile
