Offline Mode

Is the offline mode linked to our accounts or our devices? I tried to log in with another account and i had the same offline progress. Does this mean. That if i get a new phone all my hard work on Offline Mode will be gone?

I sure hope it transfers cause i am getting the Ipod 5 when it comes out

I think the progress is linked to your itune account so if you get new device your achievements in game center and in hd will still be the same if you use the same itune id. It's like when the free coins where there if you sign in with different HD account and u do the free coins thingy your you get the coins to account that is linked with itune account on that phone

I kept getting the message 'do you want to bind your offline progress to your online account?' every time I logged on after updating. After clicking yes it linked the two and let me collect the appropriate achievements.
