I fully support your idea, Vayne. Similarly, I was thinking of something like a Tavern to do much the same gamble mechanics, but your suggestion is far more complete.
Also, how about an Academy?
This building could decrease troop prudiction time each level in addition to the time decreased by Barracks.
In addition, this building could let you do two things:
- Training Exercise. The player is able to send troops from one type off to train for a certain amount of time for them to receive a % to their attack and defense (based on length of time sent away, and total # of troops sent). The player may not produce new troops of the type sent on training until the training exercise is complete.
- Recruiter. Player spends gold or coins to send out a recruiter out into the world on a recruitment mission that might return with any number of troops from all units. The higher the level of the Academy building, and the more gold/coins used, the higher % of troop # gathered. Recruited troops give no prestige at the time of their arrival.
