S500 expert choices

Experts on servers can make or break a server. S500 is no exception.
I can understand the desire to promote new experts but they need to have an experienced expert or 2 or 3. To learn from and be coached by.
Supreme rule of a server by an expert should not be allowed or tolerated. First and foremost this is a game. Made up of players from around the world. Many are paying players here to enjoy the game in their free time. There comes a certain amount of respect that should be given to all players.
Obviously ones breaking rules should be help accountable. But experts should not hold personal grudges against any players. Moderate and assist players with in game issues is the experts primary goals.
Wc can easily explode into chaos with experts that are seen to hold grudges or are blatantly rude or bias against players. Experts need to be coached.
In s500. We not only have a young (under 18) expert as our only expert, but also they are a first time expert. 18 should be the minimum age of anyone holding an expert title. They blatantly are biased. And throw wc into chaos with warning specific players.
I look to haypi support to fix this issue not only here, but on many new servers. There are plenty if older experts willing to join a new server to coach the next generation of experts. S500 is a small server. There is no place for an iron fisted bias expert who's sole purpose is to hold personal vendettas against players not in his alliance.
Support. I emplore you to help s500 players from this tyrant.

Re: S500 expert choices

It's *Bleep* the player muted. I think your right. I do see potential in *Bleep* if he had the right guidance. No fare to get a warning without doing anything wrong. When I got my expert I was lucky enough to have JuanT and chick flick help me, he just needs the same ppl to help him like I had. Thanks ek for addressing this issue.

Re: S500 expert choices

I've seen *Bleep* give warning after warning and saying that he doesn't want to mute but sadly is forced to. Mykmyk is becoming a repeat offender.
There is also a reason why there is an expert nomination thread here on the forum. Unfortunately it takes support a long while to make them as of late. It took well over a month to get the nominations thread for s604 despite numerous in game letters, pm's and emails.
Support already tends to import experts from their other servers. I am actually very surprised *Bleep* was given it cause he isn't a previous one. It seems you need to know somebody at Haypi.

I agree I have deserved my past mute butt did nothing for him to start warning me this last time. Yes I was on the wrong when I got muted but that was out of frustration for dealing with incompetence.

Re: S500 expert choices

I too am worried about the fate of s500 because of its current expert. An expert must be patient, fair, and (most importantly) mature and capable of communicating clearly with other players. They must also have experience in conflict resolution since wc is where many players end up airing their frustrations and arguments. An inexperienced expert who is too rigid with the rules will (at best) never receive any respect from his/her peers and (at worst) scare players away from the server.

Don't get me wrong. I feel that new blood in the expert position is a great thing. But it needs to be done right. They need to be properly trained in expert etiquette. Muting should ALWAYS be a last resort, not used after a single, poorly-communicated warning. Standard practice in the past has been to give three specific warnings before muting. I have yet to see this on s500.

Please address this issue!
