Raise PP

I'd like to see an item that would raise a monsters PP of a certain move permanently.

I'd call them herbs, there would be 2 kinds (red and blue? Colors don't really matter) and they could be found on the wheel after veteran/expert and team mode (but rarer in team mode). Herbs could also be bought for honor and come out of gold/crystal chests. The red herb when used would add 1 PP to a move, the blue would add 3.

A move's PP could be raised only by 3, so for instance Draconius' pyroblast could have a max of 13 PP.

Any thoughts? It could be changed to where herbs add a certain % to a move, but that wouldn't work so well with moves like photosynthesis that only has 3 PP so I went with number of PP instead.

why not just have it as a battle item? maybe raise the pp of all moves by 3 or whatever number? either way I like it

While that would be nice. You could have unlimited moves if you equipped it, then unequipped after you used up all your moves and equip on another monster. Being able to choose who gets extra PP and when would seem unfair.

I'm assuming by battle item you meant equippable item like a battle collar/iron shield and not potions/jellies

that's why itll only raise the totals but not give you more. youd have to equip it before entering a level so youll get the extra. or use the pp restore potions.

Ahhh so if I were to take it off mid level and put it on another monster their moves would go from 10/10 to 10/13, makes sense

Plus you would have to sacrifice a battle collar or dumbbell or some other item that raises stats, so it's not free

I still think we should have two item spots. one for potions and jellies one for battle items. I know someone suggested that before and im kinda liking the idea more and more

Two items is terrible. I'm only saying this because PVP is already bad enough with healing items running rampant -_- However overall this sounds like a great idea :)

I just wish they would disable items in pvp (healing items, battle items like the iron shield are OK in my opinion)
