Question.

What does this mean?
9. Dice boards in Veteran and Expert modes will feature more nest squares, making it easier to capture rarer monsters.

Oh and does anyone know what that square in the top right of Jungle Expert 5 does?

Re: Question.

The dice boards they are probably talking about are the same squares you are wondering about. It looks like a little cave, right? The cave houses the epic, final evolution, of that area [jungle would hold smiter, volcano would hold ignightmare, etc.]. Those houses give you a chance to catch the epic with green cards or for half the price that they are in the paw book.

If ignightmare costs 1000g, it'll be 500g for gold card.
The card will have 1% chance of capture, with up to 5% chance to capture when it's hp is very low.

They mean to say that more of those little houses will appear on the game board.

Hope this helps!

So in a way, it's like Pokemon's legendary battles? Thank you for the info. :3

I guess so, yeah. Only difference being it doesn't happen once throughout the whole game, a whole lot more frustrating [if 80% = 0, 5% must be in the negatives!], way more costly money-wise if you're using gold and way more time consuming greencard wise.

Re: Question.

Well I hope it's the Smiter doesn't have photosynthesis. Then it would be like the Mewtwo battle, god he was annoying to catch.

Re: Question.

Lol. I kind of didn't breed a smiter yet, because I don't have a female [but I do have two males and two catalysts], so I wouldn't know the natural learning endings, but the smiter will have all the skills that a smiter that was bred and leveled, without adding new skills, would have. [All monsters will have the skills they naturally learn. A flaunt that I encounter in the wild wouldn't suddenly smack me around with thunderstorm or wildfire. Only it's naturally learned neutral attacks, such as smack, kamikaze, sword dance and full stomach].

I think one of them is razor leaves. I have no idea about photosynthesis though. Sorry.

Re: Question.

I would guess it wouldn't have photosynthesis, when I fought them before they didn't have it.

Re: Question.

A Smiter's last skill set is:

Razor Leaves,
Poison Leaves
+ 2 Supplementary Skills

I replaced the last 2 so I can't help you but I know for a fact that he does NOT have photosynthesis.
That was one of the good things with Branchy - that he can learn that while Smiter can't (naturally).

I, for one, might not even bother with trying to catch those for the moment. But we'll see what happens after the next update! :)

Re: Question.

The next update will, hopefully, have more epics, (but for sure more monsters) so you won't get stuck with smiter if you think he's kind of ugly and dislike the fact he can't learn photosynthesis naturally. We'll just have to wait and see I guess :)

Re: Question.

I think that they only released like 14 new monsters. I am hoping that at least one of them a grass, as an alternate to Smiter, but I am hoping for better ghost types more. :P
