When you buy items in the shop, they stay in the shop, they don't disappear. So I don't see why verte would disappear from the honor shop once you buy one. You should be able to get your breeding pair just from honor.

NJones is saying that you can buy it with Honor Points in the encyclopaedia, not in the Honor shop.

I still think it could be a mistype. It's always been prestige to unlock monsters. Why would they change that with two monsters, seemingly randomly. Also the point that it mentions the encyclopedia also makes me feel its a mistype.

Yes, yes!!! I mentioned this as well somewhere.
I am ambivalent towards that, though. I don't know if I want to get it using Prestige as well since those at the top of the ladder almost everyday will get it way before everyone else.
Unless they make it so that cost is only like 50k Prestige or so, I might as well hope for Honor Points since with that, I actually have a chance of getting it sooner.

It could be that it will never be available in the encyclopedia to buy. Maybe you have to work hard for both on PvP?
