Advanced book chests

I've been doing 12 runs for 2 days and I haven't seen a single book chest. I thought that when HM implement this they were at least going to make the book chests drop more often. But from what I see, the drop rate is the same as before BUT you will have to open the chest to get a random spell instead of getting the one that you want. In addition, they decreased the vet/expert tries from 10 to 6. Seriously, I thought that this update was going to be good. But it's already starting to irritate me more than before.

same here mate, i guess everyone is irritated by many things after the update but dont worry you ain't facing all these alone. hoping there will be another update to fix all bugs and errors, and also improving the game.

Originally the # of vet/expert tries was only 5 that extra 5 was just a promotional thing and the drop rate may be them same or not i have no idea but now with the chest you will be able to get any move from say Jungle Exprt-1

In some way, its great. nothing to spin at, nothing to achieve nothing to rule. Great thing.

yea but 5 tries are really too little. the promotional period let us got so used to 10 tries that it really sucks to have 5 now. and you actually think the chest is a good idea? i assume you haven't go to the later stages of expert. for example, I really want a power of darkness but I can't imagine the pain I have to go through to get it now. firstly, the expert stage is so much harder with the rares using all the advanced moves. and when I finally complete it and get to the spin, there is no chest! and even if there is? should I spent like 10-20 coins to repsin for it? Even if I do get the chest I might get cunning or shadow storm which I already have! I hope you get the idea of how ridiculous this system is. Most of us wouldn't be able to get the spell we want unless we get real lucky.

The luck needed to get it is ridiculous now, I agree.

Although, I think that when we do get to the higher levels with our monsters to level 50 or so, we won't be complaining as much about completing the Expert and Veteran modes. The real problem I have is the road needed to get there. I mean, it's quite hard to get to 41 from 40 - I can just imagine going from 49-50...

hey Lexoph, thanks for commenting on all my complaint posts lol. I really can't imagine getting to level 50 anytime soon. I think it might actually take weeks to get 1 monster up to level 50 without using haypi coins? And we have to do that for 4 monsters :\

I know I've been ranting alot lately after patch came out. But I'm just irritated by the HM team. Instead of trying to fix existing bugs and stabilize the game, they only think about releasing new content, which is good, but introduces more imba spells/monsters and bugs into the game. IMO this time they really really need to work on a v1.21 to at least attempt to fix all the bugs and improve some of the existing game systems like the advanced book chests mentioned in this thread before actually starting v1.3

Honestly, I think it'll take way longer than 1 week to get to 50...

I am defending them a little because I don't want ANYONE to get irritated enough that they will quit the game. I want to provide a view where they can see that Haypi WILL improve the game and fix the bugs.
I don't want it so that when they actually finishes the fixes that players have already quitted. This is my aim with these posts - to not make people leave.

Haypi are listening to us because they have corrected the issues we have outlined before. They are reading the topics we post.
These issues mainly stem from new features they are adding.

As I private messaged to someone else, I think it will be a good idea to separate the feature updates and bug fixes. Maybe provide bug fixes every week while the new features are added every now and then, instead of merging the two.

Lexoph, thanks for your insight on this issue once again. I sincerely apologize if what I said irritate other people too, that's really not what I intended. I know that Haypi listens to us because each update comes with the changes to most of what we are asking for. E.g the ultimate rune gem, the adapt nerf etc. etc.

I guess my point is like what you said, Haypi should separate the updates and bug fixes. We really need the bugs to be fixed faster before implementing a new update with more bugs.
