With much appreciation, here is our story.
Hey Haypi Community,
This is a letter out to everyone letting all know of our fortune found through Haypi Kingdom. Some of you know OnTheRock, Liteforce and B!GDreamR., some of you know me (kad) and yet others don't. Either way we are both experts here on hk and have been on multiple servers. I have been with hk just about 3 years now and rock has about a year and a half invested.
Kad - Hey I am kad and I have been with hk a long time now. Many ask how I ended up on so many servers. Many have asked how I ever became an expert. To answer that, I first started on server 6. I had found a bug in the troop train timers and prepared a detailed analysis. This landed me my first title. In the old days the expert selection process was a bit more lax and many experts were elected. During this time they also had a huge server boom. To balance everything out, older experts (like me) were moved to newer servers to assist in the selection process and help new servers start up. I never lost that flow and have moved to many servers now. At this point, I am here and there and everywhere but no where lol. That's just a bit about kad. I have some friends and I have some enemies but I've always wished both groups of people the absolute best.
We are actually writing this to share our fortune as a couple. We met and became friends here on hk. This would have never happened without Volusian (a fellow expert) who talked Rock into accepting her title. Rock and I had only chatted briefly here and there until about 6 months ago. That was the breaking point when we decided to attempt a long distance relationship. In these 6 months up to now we have moved forward from friendship and met in real life on many occasions... Feb 16 I asked rock to marry me, she said yes. Then on Mar 28th we officially became husband and wife. None of this would have been possible without hk. We never really expected anything to grow from hk or an internet relationship and only loved to be here for the great people and amazing community. Together as experts we did try to help players any way we could and better the game world.
We have met many many people and made so many good friends. We have also met our fair share of adversaries (whom which we love
) and all of which we are grateful for, but we can't be any more grateful than to find one another here in this game world. With so many players and support staff to thank for such a great time here in hk it would be unfair to try to list everyone but deeply from the bottom of our hearts thank you all for everything. The one person that we really have to mention here is Thomas. The President and CEO of hk, he has recognized us and presented us with a most gracious wedding gift. We can't express our gratitude enough and as is such are returning it here for all to see.
Rock - Hey it's OnTheRock , LiteForce, B!GDreamR. anyway beyond the names I began playing HK on December 8, 2011. I have always had a heart to help people and truly care about people and seeing them be thier best. As Kad already said I became friends with Volusian right after I started playing and never expected to be given Expert. I just tried to be there for people like I am in real life. Yes I was a bit naive at times. Anyway I was given the Expert title but didn't feel qualified so Volusian had his work cut out for him convincing me I should accept it. I met many fellow Experts that mentored me and helped me especially Cassy, Karma and EK. Kad and I began talking in Expert Pal and in early October he asked me out. We have gone through 1000s of texts and 100s of hours on the phone in the last 6 months, plus as Kad had mentioned we have also met up in real life several times. We are extremely grateful to Thomas, Support and the wonderful HK community. Had I not been given Expert, and accepted it Kad and I would not have met! We will always remember HK as the place that changed our lives and brought us together. I am grateful for the many friends I have made here some we will meet in real life. Others I wish we could. If I had my way everyone would have been invited to the wedding because you all played a part, though its not possible.
Hk has been a big part of our lives as we have invested a great deal of time and energy into it. We weren't always perfect, we made our mistakes, we tried to admit our mishaps and make amends with all who may have been involved. For now though we are putting hk on the back burner in our lives and focusing on the true gift that hk has given to us..... Each other.
