Where as leveling mobs u actually have to spend real time grinding

Before 1.3 I sold every extra catalyst I had because of bag space. Good thing I keep some scrap metal

I'm thinking of making a 2nd one but I dunno lol.
I think I want two hippos first lol still need another 30 life for the first

Actually, if you just do team modes every 10 hours, it's not that long. I don't really train my monsters by going through the normal modes again and again. I don't know if you do that but if you do, then, that might be the reason why you find it so tedious. I rely only on team modes + dice for double EXP.
With daily training, you just click on the training times.
With the catalysts, you only click level rush and you just wait a few seconds. Spin and you're done. You most likely will get the 5 you need by the time you finish training your monsters.
Getting the boss essences might not be a hard task but it will take a far LONGER time than training your monsters. I trained my Hippogon synthesis monsters and training my Gryphion ones now and I still am not that close to getting the boss essences. I haven't really slacked with that yet.

Re: Gryphion Preview

At level 39, Gryphion was faster than a level 46 Neon, both pure S.

Also OHKO's most of the monsters in CS team mode with thunderstorm even at only level 39.

Takes a lot of damage though.

A lot people are getting breeding pairs

I think mostly because runes are too hard to get, and too expensive to fuse

Re: Gryphion Preview

lol I don't think I have energy to farm a 2nd one.

They should make day 5 login reward for level 28-30 players a premium rune gem. And also implement a feature where you can d/e into a lower grade rune but you only get 1 one the down grade.

How about changing the 5th consecutive day login reward to a premium rune AND allowing higher rank runes to be used on specific rank monsters and lower? For example, an ultimate rune would be used by epic monsters AND below (rare, common and uncommon) as well.

Re: Gryphion Preview

The defense stat on Gryphion is disappointing. It is lower than Rhor's defense stat. I would have preferred speed of 170 instead of 190 and defense of 120 instead of 100. Its attack stat is only 4-5 points higher than Neon and has a much lower M attack than Neon.

Overall, I am not all that impressed by Gryphion's stats. I had higher hopes for it.

I can let this go, actually.
I really, really like its talents and that really is its redeeming qualities.

If you first look at Scythe (stats), you won't really be impressed. But with Resurrect, everyone pretty much wants a Scythe on their team as it can even beat monsters that it's weak against. I think that it will be the same for Gryphion.
However, I really, really do hope they make it a bit stronger. I feel that it won't stand a chance against Resurrect Scythes.

Re: Gryphion Preview

It will consistently lose to resurrect Scythes and armor III Brawny (Behemoth). Even with underdog power ability (the ability I currently have on mine), it did not stand up well against Scythe and Brawny.

Like Rhor, it will also often lose to POD Flights.

I am debating whether to replace electrical storm with iajitsu on my Gryphion.

Electrical storm is nice for team modes and PVP and, with the STAB bonus, it is not a big drop off from Iajitsu, which does not always hit twice.
