I think this chart might be easier to decipher if there was a legend saying which direction is attacking which, for example: left side is attack, and top is defend. It doesn't work both ways, so it's a bit confusing for anyone not familiar with reading charts. Just an FYI...

Attackers are on the left, defenders are on top. This is mainly how all tables of this kind are read even outside of haypi.

Umm according to the pic it is .3 isn't it, not .2 as your stating, or am I just completely lost??

Does someone check your work before you post it?

And yes the guide should have the attacker and defender sides labeled regardless as to what you consider common knowledge, your going to have to do better if you want to be successful.

Also WTF, Your chart shows ONLY a 1.5:1 for Calvary:Troops. Sorry but that's just stupid.

Calvary takes about 4 times the resources to create as a troop, yet only has a 1.5:1 advantage. Sure there's the speed thing but that doesn't make hardly any difference.

Need to rethink that one. :oops:

There's an edit button in the bottom right for a reason

Why. It makes perfect sense to me. Swords of equal value are better, period.

Just because YOU think it should be one way doesnt mean must be. Cav grant many tactical uses Swords do not. And yes, higher speed IS that important...

Put it this way
2 cats to kill a horse
super speed horse can reach cats in about 3-4 turns
at close rance horses SLAUGHTER cats
People fall People die but People just move on

You have to factor in Life 500 vs 150 (3.33x), Attack 175 vs 75 (2.33x), Defence 175 vs 75 (2.33x) and of course Speed 300 vs 150 (2x).

Purely Attack & Defence Comparison

Cav's attack = 175 x 1 = 175
Sword's life + def = 150 + 75 = 225
1.285 Cav kills 1 Swords

Sword's attack = 75 x 1.5 = 112.5
Cav's life + def = 500 + 175 = 675
6 Swords to kill 1 Cav

6/1.285 = 4.67x

Not too sure whether attack & defence is used correctly in this way and also the speed affects the attack stats. If attack & defence is a multiplier, then I need to know the base attack. The range was excluded as the assumption is both are in melee range.

Ok! I've not being playing long so please bear with my ignorance as all I want to know is really simple. Let me give you a scenario!!

You're facing a Rainbow of troops 5K Catapults, 2K Archers, 2k Cavalry and 2K Swordsmen. Plus a Wall Defence max'd out with GunTurrets.

How would you attack?
I let the game play automatically and lost a lot of swords and a fair few Catapults before they even reached the Wall. So some insight into what attacks what will help me out, a lot.
