1. Before OEL's there was verta/Felicity etc. This gave a slight advantage but was still fairly easy to beat. The gap between OEL's and non OEL's is much larger in both stats and talents, which make it close to impossible to beat a full OEL team in the hands of a capable user.

True there are people with non-OEL's topping the servers. I'm one of those people, I beat a lot a unskilled players with OEL's easily but when I meet a skilled player I have no chance. In time unskilled players will become skilled. And my time is coming to an end.

2. The argument that Haypi needs to make money to run the servers and survive, earning a fair profit. In my opinion haypi has already by far surpassed this tenfold. Probably to the point rolling around naked in money each night.

Let's look at its operating cost.

Firstly, it's a Chinese company so overhead is going to be much much lower than a north American company. Labor, parts, servers, lower taxes (if they actually claim all their income) etc. They have one support staff to handle 40+ servers. (Vicki) They don't employee staff to cover weekends.

When you compare it to a North American company such as Blizzard, who charges $10 per month, has thousands of support staff 24/7. Ingame GM's. Much larger content. Much higher operating cost being in America. Much better balancing and bug fixing. And yet still make billions a year. They are able to support all of this and make large profits with $10/month.

While people here spent $1000 (8-9 years worth of WOW subscription) and have gotten very little in return in terms of game content.

So to sum it up. Yes, I agree that Haypi needs to make money to survive. However, I think are way pass that point and rolling in cash by the barrels (pun intended). And have given very little back in terms on game content and really really cheaped out on the support. The average annual wage in China is around $330/month in big cities. In rural areas its 10% of that.
That's 3 coin barrels a month to employee a 2nd support staff. I find that hard to believe employing 1-2 more support staff (give up a few coin barrels) will bankrupt the company.

Greed...

Haypi has to make money some way, yes it's aggravating but I would rather them do this to a "free" game then have FREAKIN advertisements every 5 seconds pop up! I can not stand those free games that have advertisements!

I was planning to get setanic to counter the underdog power of cerb by clearing barren but i dint know that u need OEL's for clearing that as well coz the chance of clearing it is sooo less with normal mobs and in turn ppl having oel's are having setanic as well :(

There are other ways to make their money/quota without putting out gamble items that are messing up the games balance and chasing away players.

But that gamble is legendaries all their money comes from them and people who do hatchery till it's grade S, trainings and team modes. So you're talking about 1 person spending lets say a couple hundred bucks. Now that's just one person out of 45 servers. If you do the math they make so much money of off legendaries it's a gold mine. They don't care what you or anybody else has to say as long as they make their money.

Thank you for proving my point that Haypi no longer cares about the community, simply about making money.
