Wasn't there an option to kick out your partner mid map? I recall seeing it like or maybe I'm just assuming.
My server must be really lucky... We do have a couple of players I particularly don't like but everyone keeps out of trouble unless a "troller" decides to wreak havoc. Our top player was really nice before he quit, and the one reigning right now is really nice too. Too bad he's also in the verge of quitting.

You get the same EXP as Quick Start if you end it without your team mate.
Same happens when your ally dies in the fight ...

That's not quite true, you still get the extra money and player experience boost if your partner leaves. I would've finished by myself and it wouldn't have been a problem but my first monster got poisoned on the first turn of the boss and eventually died, and my second monster was a level 10 I just brought to evolve for collection.
