No he's a glass cannon.

Saying he can compete against 1 giant snowball doesn't make him any more of a tank. That's like saying oh well octomom can beat a bloom he must be a tank. No, he sucks he can just beat a crappier monster.

Gryph have a elemental weakness, champ doesnt, it is harder to OHKO.

I think you meant to say that to someone else, but either way he's still a glass cannon to the extreme. He's easily ohko by non pod monsters even after pod.

And I used the gryph comparison because Luv said "who needs defense when you have massive amounts of hp?" And I just wanted to point out that gryph with his 250 hp is a joke of a defender.

Also the game skews towards DEF over MDEF since only Ice (arguably the worst element), Psychic and Ghost (which the free epics blow) focus primarily on MATK, every other element primarily uses ATK skills.

Wtf are you talking about lol I have gryph and he gets ohko more than not. People call rhor an extreme glass cannon and gryph has less def than rhor.

I have to agree with Schwag here. Whenever I use my Gryphion in PvP, it's either kill or be killed. Hence why I put Winged Boots on it for that little extra Speed.

Champ is a tank nevertheless, keep in mind he's only Rare tier!
