Encountering Bosses - Potential "Boss Locations"

So this just happened to me and I was wondering if anyone else knows anything about the code behind encountering bosses.

I have a few alternate accounts I use to farm Boss Essences. I was playing on alternate account #1 and did my normal routine:

1. Pick a map (normally in Stone Vault or Miracle Sea because you can auto with Branchy and beat both of these levels easily)

2. Roll dice and auto fights until I encounter a boss.

3. Switch to a new alternate account and repeat.

Here is what happened to me today:

After playing a couple levels on alternate account #1, I encounter my first boss on Stone Vault map 7 (4-7) exactly 6 spaces from the start. Then I switched to account #2. After playing a couple levels, I encountered a boss on the exactly same spot (6 spaces from the start on 4-7). Then I got to thinking, maybe this was a temporary "Boss Location." So on account #3 I went straight to 4-7 and used a loaded dice to roll a 6. Guess what happened? Yup, encountered a boss.

Unfortunately, my other accounts didn't have access to Stone Vault yet so I couldn't continue to test it. But my plan is tomorrow to try to find another "Boss Location" with one account and then use loaded dice on the rest to see if that spot is really a "Boss Location" spot.

Couple things to note/other information:

1. It could be time/player level sensitive. I had my brother (player level 32) try 5-10 minutes later and he didn't find one. All my alternate accounts are levels 12-15.

2. Two or the bosses were Cygness and the other was Crystal (don't think this matters at all)

3. The first two played a couple levels before encountering their boss, whereas the third only landed on one spot.

4. The first account has Canyon unlocked, but the other two only have Stone Vault.

If you have any other questions, just let me know. I'll be testing this theory all throughout this week and will report back.

Interesting, I will have to test this out. Most of my alts are in the same level and only have SV unlocked. If your theory works for me, I will let you know...

A roaming boss location generator would be harder to code than a random chance per battle generator. So I doubt it is the case.

If this ends up working, it would be so easy to farm Boss Essence. Each 9 bosses you encounter on your alternate accounts gets you 50 loaded dice (assuming your main account deals the most damage and kills the boss). Theoretically you'll never run out of loaded dice on your alternate accounts and encounter bosses so fast without the grind of searching. Only one account would do the grinding and the rest use dice.

This.
It would be waaaaay easier for Haypi to simply make it random.
Not only this, but it'd be very unlogical to do so, what would lower leveled accounts do compared to high level accounts that have, lets say, completed Barren Land-15.

About the fact that you found them all (on your first tile?) probably means because you didn't find any bosses in a while.
The longer you wait, the easier it'll be for you to encounter a new boss.
Both times I got out hospital, I found the Boss Raid on my very first tile.
Finally back on track and ready to help you guys :D!

No, the first two landed on about 8-10 tiles before finding a boss. Then they both landed exactly 6 spaces from the start on 4-7 and found a boss. The other account landed 4 spaces away and then I used a loaded dice two spaces away and found it on the exact small tile, 6 spaces from the start on 4-7.

I do think it's most likely just a coincidence, but I'm still going to try tomorrow to see what happens.

3 Bosses small tile, not the first tile landed.

Yea, this'll definitely require repetition. Don't think you'll have any luck though :(.

Hey CptClough, any chance you have tried to do this again?
If it works, I'd definitely add it in my Guide !
