Beginner Tips I Wish I Knew
Save your money: Don't buy eggs, once you reach level 15 you will unlock the Enhance Tree which will allow you to increase the quality of your monsters by sacrificing other monsters.
Pay the $0.99 for VIP 1: you will unlock an extra trainer spot, enable 1.5x speed and get Boarbarian, these will help you early on, especially Boarbarian who is an Epic monster who starts as C quality and has a Fire, Plant, Water, and Earth 60 power move by default. It will help tremendously early on, but keep in mind it can't learn Advanced skills so it will get phased out eventually, so don't invest too much in upgrading its stats.
Play first floor levels: You get Runes and XP cards which are key to leveling and getting the talents you want early on. So unlock Floor 2 but keep grinding floor one until you get what you need.
Blobs: There are 6 different kinds, each one specializes in a specific stat, they give HUGE boosts to their specific stat when sacrificing them in the Enhance Tree. You see them in first floor maps, always capture them if you have the seal cards available.
Quitting levels: If you quit a level before finishing it, it doesn't use up the energy allowing you to get the monster hunter achievements and capture monsters even if you didn't see them on your first play through.
Clear tasks: You get Player XP, Runes, Seal Cards, or money for them, very helpful early on to get the talents you need, buff your monsters or get to player level 15. The exploration tasks are an excellent source of Runes. Once at player level 15 you can chill out on this aspect.
Team mode: It kind of sucks, you don't get very much money or XP cards and it costs 60 energy to try it.
Using your daily Energy refill: It allows you to get over 120 energy but the timer to regenerate Energy stops when you are at 120+. Only use the refill when you are low on energy and intend on continuing to play.
Fortune Race: Once you unlock the 2nd floor this is available as an Activity, do it every chance you get, it's good for easy XP cards, Money, or Honour. Sure you usually won't get that much, for the time it takes vs the rewards, it is excellent.
Scrolls: Even if you already have the monster use all synth scrolls. When sacrificing at the Enhance Tree the synthesis monster will give more stats than sacrificing all of its constituent parts.
