Nightfall has the potential to be one of the most disruptive weather out there. (Arguably moreso than magic storm which has more obvious benefits)

Bahamut with nightfall has the potential to be a major threat to two of the game's most popular team archetypes: foresight taunt pewg lightning and jihadi scythe.

Scythe is obvious and has nothing to do with weather; he is ghost.

Foresight taunt pewg has everything to do with weather. Foresight is useless in night and if he mistakenly tries he loses a turn. Lightning as normally ur fastest element get pushed to the back of the attack stack as your slowest attack now which can have advantages. Also, if ur worried about rain it is simple to maintain the weather in this case. Pewg being slower than bahamut if they both cast weather on same turn during night, pewg rain would resolve first where night would then most likely follow after keeping the weather nighttime.

It seems they fixed the dream eater/nightmare issue. They work with magic storm now.

That being said an invalidate monster still completely neutralizes ghosts. Especially with stat raises. Magic force III + cunning 6 max magic attack barely moves fenrir, Levi, and setanics hp. And with setanic being slower then baha he can cast sand storm which will cast before you can use dream eater. Shadow storm and punishment are all that is left. Neither will do enough damage in time. Invalidate also prevents Baha's ability night killer from working. Not even penetrate can go through invalidate anymore...

Invalidate neutralizes ghosts. Magic storm should at least benefit ghosts enough to be able to use their skills and talents without being affected by invalidate.

Just the tanky ones like Gryphon, Levi, set, fenrir

They need to at least allow ghost talents and cunning to work in nightfall
