Bug or not?

Face someone in ladder and my S Rhor + wing boots went second to a neon or whatever. My rhor should be the fastest monster regardless without the wing boots but I'm still going second sometimes?

I think the equipment do not work in ladder.
yeah that happens to me sometimes, 2 monsters fight , first turn one monster is faster and the other turns the other monster is faster..
maybe speed is just some probability to go first?

Yes. Equipment does not work in ladder.

Speed also IS a probability to go first. The one with higher speed has a higher chance to go first. Anyway speed works in 10s so those with speed 10 points apart essentially can have the same speed.

Another thing that could possible is that your opponent has upgraded his monster to bronze grade. A fully betted bronze neon has the same speed as your rhor(156) so it could go first.

it probadly was bronze, you woul be able to see it though.


i dont remember the speed of neo compared to rhor on top of my head, but remember speed increses you're chances of going first but isnt determinating it alone, unless you have +15 more than the opponent. you will of course go first mainly, but there is a 7% * the speed up to 15 the opponent is slower than you, chance than he has a possibility to go first. (think its 50/50 if he rolls that possibility, but not entirely sure)

the calc might have been chanced from hm1, since lower lvl monsters have lower stats and thereby 15 more than the opponent, can be significantly harder to achieve

tho i doubt they changed it
