trial of the grand explanation?

so i finaly got to floor 4 but now im confused on how this mode works.
and when i click details it shows a broken page. so im confused on a few things rn
Does this mode consume energy? my energy stayed the same so is it like bossmode where theres a time limit?
after fighting the boss once, i cant fight him anymore and theres no time limit that i can see so does that mean i can only fight once a day?
how do i get puzzle piecea? after beating one boss or all 3?
do i choose which peice i get?
and i have piece with a question mark on it and not sure what it does

Re: trial of the grand explanation?

A) Does not use energy. You have one chance for free. The next hit is ten coins, then another ten and so on until it is dead. Same thing for the next two, one free hit and then coins. Once you kill all three you get the rewards.

B) ? pieces are universal leg. fragments

Do you not get rewards if you don't kill them? or not kill all 3? I killed the 1st one but haven't killed the others?

Re: trial of the grand explanation?

you need to kill all three. And universal frags can take the place of any legendary fragment when you go to buy a legendary scroll in alchemy.

Re: trial of the grand explanation?

Will I pick up where I left off next time? Or start all over? Cause it takes me about 4 hits to kill one of them. So I spent 30 coins to kill the 1st one, then that will be another 60 coins to kill the other 2? That seems super excessive. If I wait till Thursday will they still be damaged, or reset?

They are damaged but still cost coins. You can hit reset and you will get the one free hit again with different monsters, then you pay again.

Re: trial of the grand explanation?

Ok I'm confused, here is what I am saying:

Right now I have a Plantasaurus that is dead, and it says Obtainable: EoL x6.

Then I have behemoth at 745/1000. Then another Behemoth at 1000/1000.

If I do nothing then what will I get at reset today?

Then what will I have when it comes back around? Will the 1st monster still be dead and the 2nd monster be at 745/1000? So I can wait a couple of weeks and kill all 3 for free? or will you NEVER kill them without spending coins?

Main reason I am trying to find out is I spent 30 coins to kill the Plantasuarus, if that progress is going to be lost then I may spend to finish off the other 2 monsters, if I can kill them next time for free (albeit slowely) then I will wait.

Thanks for the help!

Re: trial of the grand explanation?

Nothing, you will receive nothing if you don't kill all 3 of them. And you cannot hit a single monster more than ONCE for free. That's it, no reset per monster. So it is not a time thing. You have to kill each with one attack to beat it for free.

Re: trial of the grand explanation?

So your 4x Brawny setup seems really good for this as well!
