Debuff with super skills

Hi guys,

I am really confused about some super skill such as Super Thunderstorm (STS). It said that my monster will not move for the next turn when use this skill. However, my Neon with Adaptability talent and in Rain Prayer does not get any debuff when it uses STS.

I plan to build my team with Cygness, Blaze and Brawny too. Skills I intend to buy will be Water Torrent, Super Fire Bomb, and Massive Boulder. They also talk about rebuff when using those skills.

Does anyone have any ideas about my confusion?

In favorable weather conditions, super skills don't give the debuff effect. So sts doesn't exhaust in rain, super fire bomb doesn't lower attack in sun, Massive boulder doesn't lower def in sand storm, etc.

It should also be noted that the monster using the attack has to be the same type as the attack for this to happen. For example a purrfection using massive boulder during sand storm will still have it's def lowered since it's not an earth type monster.
