How does foresight work?

Does it only protect you for only one round?

Do you have to cast it before the enemy to make it work (so you have to have higher speed and move first else it will not work)?

Any detail is greatly appreciated. Don't want to waste 315 EOW to find out the true use in a hard way (or find out it is a junk in a hard way). Thanks

Re: How does foresight work?

Foresight is always cast first regardless of monster SPD. The first cast is always successful but after that there is an ever increasing chance that it will fail. It's effect is to cause the first attack that round on your monster to automatically miss, so in 2v2 the second hit will make it through (making Smack or Water Jets useful to nullify it for your second monster to dish a knockout blow).

I could see it also being useful if you have Poisoned, Cursed, Burned or Lethal Poisoned a monster and want a free turn to have the debuff do its thing.

Thanks a lot!

It is extremely useful if used correctly.

Re: How does foresight work?

It used to not have the accuracy degradation and work every time and had 5 PP instead of 3 in Haypi Monster before they patched it to be less broken.
