Force III v.s. Adaptability

I just consider which talent is better. Has anyone know exactly how much each talent can improve ATK? I read some topics about this issue but no one can confirm clearly.

Another issue is about Inverse talent. I do not really understand how this talent work. Could you guys help me clarify, please? Examples would be appreciated

Thank you

Re: Force III v.s. Adaptability

In Haypi Monster I did a test with Adaptability using 10 hits each with an Electric move on a Neutral, Water and Earth monster and same thing with an equal power move on the same monsters and Adapt worked out to do around 40% extra damage. Near as I can tell Force III does more damage, is attack type not element tied, but makes you pretty easy to 1 hit.

Inverse just makes every stat buff debuff have the opposite effect on your monster, you get hit with Ice Beam, your MDEF goes up not down, you get Paralyzed, your speed goes up not down, you cast Aurora Borealis, your MDEF goes up not down, you cast Sword Dance your ATK goes down not up etc. But it only affects the monster with Inverse, not all monsters in combat.

Re: Force III v.s. Adaptability

in old haypi there was a clearification post from support:

adapt elemental increse by 40%

MF3 - F3 phys/magical increse by 45%

the force 3 slightly higher increse in damage isnt worth it in my opinion for the alot more damage taken, IF you only use your primary elemental attacks only (rhor only using lightning attacks). However it does make it possible to empower other skills which can be quet valueable :)

have you searched properly? theres quet a lot of clarifications from support on old haypi, the last iirc about electrocute.

about dogde i havent seen default numbers, but i think ive seen a post about the lvl difference dogde rate, dont remember the number but its exponential.

most of them is a while back since well, there hasnt been active supports on that forum for well over half a year, if not a whole :(

keep in mind tho alot of them has changed so its only true still in case they have reused the values

Re: Force III v.s. Adaptability

All they said was Electrocute increased its critical hit rating and that it was once bugged to crit way more often then intended and was fixed.

Neither one of those are actual values that can be used to compare Electrocute to Thunderstorm to figure out which has a greater net damage over time (which would also require knowing the default critical hit rate). Both of which I asked Support and was told that they 'cant give out information like that'.

And as far as I know, support never confirmed the 40% Adaptability damage value, that was me who posted it in the Haypi Monster forum after testing. I don't know where you got the 45% damage increase from Force III and Magic Force III either since most of the information on damage increase specifics was anecdotal information from other forum goers.

Re: Force III v.s. Adaptability

I was asking about "dodge" numbers the first week HM1 came out, ryeballs was too. I am surprised that there actual numbers in above posts about adapt and f3..

I know there have been many other players asking support over the year for some data, and all they got was the cookie cutter response

Interesting, now some ### are coming out

Re: Force III v.s. Adaptability

The Adapt boost amount came from here not from support as far as I know.

And all questions about skill, talent, calculation or base values I've ever asked support all got cookie cutter "we dont give that info out" responses just like Bullhead

*edit*

Basically, don't assume that I didn't do my homework, and if you are getting different responses from support or know of any topics where someone did, let the community know. Otherwise I can only assume it is conjecture or admitted estimations.

Re: Force III v.s. Adaptability

It looks like that Rhor with Force III is weaker than Neo with Adaptability!
